Walmart Pharmacy

Always pleasant, efficient and helpful!

The lady kept sighing at me on the phone and it took her about 7 times to get the spelling of common drug right despite me using the phonetic alphabet. I'm still not sure she got it right since she told me she doesn't have it (Walmart absolutely does sell this drug). If you're rude at least be helpful. She was neither.

Fast accurate

This is by far my favorite pharmacy. Brian and Amy are excellent at what they do. They have helped my own surgeon and Doctor with prescriptions and pain management. They also take the time needed to inform you about new drugs or drugs that have changed shape or color. I am not a great Walmart fan but I am of the pharmacy department!!

Called in my prescription refill on Sunday, went there on Thursday May 23rd to pick it up. Line was way too long, so I left, but was out of medication. I went back on Friday, May 24th around 11 am to get my prescription. Whole place shuttered with a note on the mesh that technicians were working to get it back open. I tried to find a manager or supervisor to ask what was going on, after about 15 minutes I found someone, but they had no clue except that it was closed. Communicating with others in the store by the radio, they didn't know how long it would be closed for, probably all day at least. They suggested I try another Walmart, so I went to Eagan. The technician at the Eagan store said my prescription was expired(it wasn't), and they would have to call the clinic to get it ok'd to fill.nThere goes the benefit of having your prescription at a chain that can look up details. It appears the stores do not share updated account information between pharmacies. I wasn't up for another two hours of their rigamarole, so I called the clinic and had all my prescriptions called into Costco in Burnsville.nn1. Have something up informing customers WHEN your pharmacy will reopen. I need medication today. Will it be one hour, two hours. two days or two weeks?n2. Don't have your in store management team tell customers that the pharmacy isn't part of their responsibility. It is your store and it is provided as part of your operations. It is part of their responsibility.n3. If your online credit card system went down, i bet that would be up again fast. I guess your pharmacy customers aren't as important as your store operations.n4. ARGGGGH, I won't be back any time soon. More of my money spent at Target and Costco. 1 star for today's experience because 0 stars isn't an option. I would suggest calling the pharmacy if you insist on using them, but they are unlikely to answer the phone, it will end up in voice mail and you won't have any more information than you did before you started.n5. Take my prescription out of your little baggie and put it back into your inventory. Costco had my prescription filled in 15 minutes.
