Why is it so hard to get an order right here? I got a sandwich two days in a row, specified no egg, and still received egg. Today, my iced drink was also a hot drink. I understand mistakes happen. I was very polite about it, the cashier apologized and asked the cooks to make it again. The lady making my sandwich was rude, kept asking if I wanted no egg, then what kind of egg, then asked if I also didn’t want the bacon that came with my sandwich. When everything was finished, she set it down out of my reach, tossed the straw on the counter, and walked away. Go anywhere else. Do not go here.

I order from here at least once a week for myself or a small group without any issues, so last night when my family was together for a birthday, I suggested we order delivery from Panera. There were seven of us, so it was around $80 and I think the delivery time was a little longer (about an hour), both of which were expected and all good. However, the food arrived and it was missing three orders of soup, a fruit cup, and salad dressing. When I called the store, the manager said they couldn't bring us a correct order, they could only refund the money. I appreciate the refund, but it was very awkward with half of us eating what was ordered and the other half left snacking on chips because our food didn't make it. We can't get together frequently right now, so this was a special occasion and not about the money as much as the act of sharing a meal and I am disappointed. I would recommend Panera for single orders or smaller groups of less than 5 because I do love the food.

The drive thru order taker was super nice and I thought being very helpful. I just wanted a tuna sandwich on white bread extra lettuce and extra mayo and that’s it. She didn’t tell me that Panera doesn’t use lettuce, at least on that sandwich and it was mixed greens, I also thought I was getting a full sandwich but I got my $7.41 half sandwich with tuna, tomato, onion and a lot of mixed greens, I wouldn’t have said extra if I’ve known it was mixed greens, and I’m not sure if there was any extra mayo or not. I had to pull the tomato, onion and half of the greens off and so I ended up with a little bit of tuna on two small pieces of white bread. Not great. Everyone was super nice though.

They have removed my favorite sandwich from the menu. No more Steak & arugula. So I tried the ham & swiss. Surprise! no swiss cheese. They used processed American cheese slice as a substitute! They didn't even tell me. This is especially frustrating because they expect you to pay $13 for lunch. On top of that, the paper they are wrapping the sandwiches in smells like old crayons. The chicken noodle soup is old, the noodles are dark and the tea bubbler is dirty & makes the tea taste like bad kombucha. This used to be a go to for weekday lunch. Now it is so not worth the price. I will be skipping it.
