My friends and I have ordered cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods from Edita's. She's perhaps one of the best in town. Whether its cream based or fondant based cakes, her work is amazing! She work aside with you to create a very unique customized cake, that tastes great too! We've done Pink Floyd, Daniel Tiger, Cars, Batman, and many other from her. This lady is a one star show! Her attitude is just as amazing. My friends love her too! She's always ready on time! I would definitely recommend her over many other bakeries in the area! She makes yummy crepes too!
After reading wonderful reviews of the product I attempted to make a purchase. Apparently the owner doesn't adhere to the posted hours nor do they return phone calls when you leave messages!nPoor business practices, I will be going back to the tried and true East Detroit bakery !
Fabulous cakes. The layered mango pineapple key lime cake is not only delicious but beautiful. If you want to get a cake that is not only delicious but impressive, Edita's is the place! They also make a great fruit smoothie.
My custom cake was altered from original design set forth at the consultation appointment. The top suitcase was supposed to have brass corners, like an antique case. That was a disappointment.nThere were three maps on the bottom tier. One was correct, another one was UPSIDE DOWN and the other one looked like the printer ran out of ink. Unfortunately, the upside down map was in the front part of the cake. I paid $265 and was terribly disappointed. The taste and texture of cake was good.
Loved everything about Edita! Her set up and presentation for our wedding were very well done. Also very good communication with the client all the time
