The team at Coleman Allied was terrific. The driver was extremely prompt (arrived early at both loading and unloading) and courteous. The team of movers was highly professional. They laid down materials to protect the flooring and walls at both origin and destination. They took time to ensure all of our furniture was well protected for transport and arrived in the same condition it was packed up in. I can’t imagine a smoother and more efficient moving experience. I would highly recommend the team at Coleman Allied for anyone in need of a full service moving company. The company also provides a significant number of free new boxes for your move along with unlimited used boxes, packing tape, and packing paper.

Sadly I give Coleman Allied 1 Star. I was not kept informed of the status of my shipment. Only when I contacted them did they call or email me. The sales rep was very responsive until it was time to get my belongings to me from KY to CT. They picked up my shipment a day early at my request, but it took them THREE WEEKS to get them here... but only after I threw a fit. The coordinator lied to me several times telling me my belongings were being loaded “as we speak” only to find out a week later they were never even loaded onto the truck and it would be another week before they get there. The pick up movers were nice enough but did not pack some things properly and several of my items were totally destroyed. The movers who brought my belongings even commented on the poor packing of the furniture. One glass bookcase was shattered with a jagged edge left for one of the delivery movers to almost cut himself. He mentioned it should have been packed with cardboard on the front to indicate it was glass and that “all movers should know this, it’s kind of a universal code.”nnI could go on and on but I am extremely disappointed with the overall service I received at a substantial amount of money. I did purchase full insurance but now have to go through the claims process. Allied used to have a great reputation, which is why I chose them. Not anymore. I’ve never used a full service moving company before but I definitely won’t be using Allied again.

The actual movers I rate very highly. They were quick and good at what they do. They can carry anything and put together the most difficult bed rails. The schedulers however need a little work. The truck was late picking up and late delivering. It seemed to me they had not anticipated realistic work schedules.

We hired Coleman Allied Moving for a personal cross state move from Louisville, KY to the Atlanta GA area.nI don’t know where to begin- Sarah our sales rep was delightful, funny & honest. She estimated our move almost 31,000 lbs within 500 lbs - who does that in a 5,000 soft home....!!!! The office staff that helped us (Denise & Sherry) were detailed oriented and followed up & helped us with our boxes. The bright shining stars were the muscle behind this massive move. Joey’s team were fast, conscious, polite, and did I mention fast? That team worked together like a well oiled machine. They put all of our stuff in the right rooms in the new house (which was a big deal for me!). And out of all the boxes that we packed I think we have only found a couple items chipped - outstanding care for our items!!! I couldn’t recommend a better group of people to hire if you are considering a move. We had to pay for this out of our own pockets it wasn’t a corporate move & I would recommend them to everyone!

We moved from Kentucky to Maryland. Different crew on both ends. Both were fantastic. The Maryland crew was VERY impressive. 2 men unloaded and put together a house full of furniture and boxes in less than 5 hours. Very professional. Highly recommend
