Stopped in on a whim to my storage unit that around the corner, and was pleasantly surprised!nnThere’s lots of cool furniture, (it sucks being in an apartment sometimes).nnI took home the cutest little painting and piece of Star Of David Pressed Glass that I didn’t have for my collection, as well as some cool ‘vintage’ cookbooks.nnWill definitely be back and see what other cool items I can’t live without ud83dude42

I have to say, the place would look a lot better if they just dusted. I know it's consignment, but a minor wipe down would make more than a few things look nicer. We bought a table that seemed to have mud spots once I started cleaning it. I'm used to antique shops being dusty, but consignment is a middleman business and every little bit helps move product.

April's Antiques is a must-see Lansing destination for anyone looking for friendly service and plenty of variety. The business features mostly furniture that is all reasonably well cared for and decently priced.

I have frequented this store many times, bought my current couch, a few end tables, and art pieces. Always loved the place and recommended it to everyone and anyone. Needed a new couch recently and PURCHASED (as in completely paid for) a couch I fell in love with from this store. I was told that in order to do a in-home delivery I'd have to wait until they get respirator masks, okay, no problem. I begin decorating my new apartment with this couch in mind, extremely excited. I then receive a phone call a few days later saying that they SOLD MY COUCH TO SOMEONE ELSE..... yes, the couch I completely paid for had been re-sold to someone else AND delivered... because no one communicated. Then, I was made to come take time out of my day to drive to the store to pick up cash for a refund because they were unable to refund my card. I thought maybe they'd offer a discount to me for next time I visit, an in-store credit, something for this awful experience... I received nothing. It's been a few weeks and I've yet to find a couch I loved as much as the one I purchased.... so disappointed and hurt. I want to go back to this place because I used to love them and their deals so much, but after this situation and how it was handled, I don't think I can.
