So helpful! Great vinegars and oils
We attended a class to learn how to cook with the produce from the farmers market. It was delicious.
I had a really good experience here. I'm pretty new to cooking; just about 3 years under my belt of analog chefing. A young woman named Jaimie was a great help. She also pointed out to me that you don't have to buy all the bottles at once to get the 12fth one free. It's like a punch card, where as you purchase bottles over time, they keep count and once you've totalled 11, you get a free medium sized bottle. Not bad. Thanks Jaime. And thanks fustininnUPDATE: When I was in Fustini's, their representative, Jamie, was telling me all sorts of stuff. I've had a day to look up her ramblings and it turns out there's tons of health benefits from using very fresh olive oil, and according to the dates on the bottles I purchased, these oils are SUPER FRESH! I guess the fustis (polished metal containers) keep the oil very fresh and prevent oxidation. Look, you should ask Jaime about the specifics. I'm just a knuckle head on the internet, but good oil is a big thing, alright. Check it out
One of my favorite Petoskey stops! Charlene and her crew are fun, friendly, and personable. It's always an enjoyable experience, and they have great recommendations for food pairings. They definitely know their stuff. Keep up the good work, ladies!
