Petit Four Pastry

Under new ownership. This place used to be amazing. We ordered all of our special event cakes from Herman and his family. When he sold the business it went from being the best place in town, to absolute trash. I would rather drive to Midland than order another cake here. We ordered a very special baby shower cake, because covid prevented a full shower. Since it was just going to be the mom to be, sisters and grandmas we wanted it to be extra special. It was almost as expensive as my wedding cake and was meant to have 2 bunny figures with a vegetable garden theme. They used straight pink icing, and the only vegetables they copied from the original picture were the cabbages that they dipped in course grain green sprinkles to hide the sloppy pipping. It looks like a grocery store cake, which would be fine if it wasn't 8 times the price of a full sheet cake. If they weren't able to create the design they should have indicated that when it was ordered instead of surprising us the afternoon beforehand when there were no other options. Not only that, when it was picked up they indicated it was more difficult that they expected and charged about 10% more than we were quoted. I feel terrible that Herman's shop is going to fail at the hands of these people. He spent years developing the reputation. I will never order here again. When looking over reviews and pictures keep in mind that it is under new ownership.

Stopped today got some sugar cookies and fruit tart, both were AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try. I have some hummingbird bread for breakfast and cannot wait to try it!!

We opened the door to our Webster Inn B & B room and we were welcomed with a lovely sight: a sumptuous , delicate little cake wishing my wife and I : “Happy Anniversary!”nIt was a delicious start to a beautiful weekend that included cherry-cream cheese cake tarts, lemon custard bars and pumpkin coffee cake for our morning breakfasts!

I LOVE Petit Four; their sugar cookies are amazing and the creme brulee one's are one of my favorite cookies of all time.
