I took a chance on the Strout Brothers as I had never heard of them. I responded to their mailer I had received prior to my downsize move. I was thoroughly impressed with how responsive they were to my inquiry so I hired them and am so glad I did. They handled my furniture and boxes with the tender care. The job was done quickly and with smiles. When I hesitated on where something should go in my new place- they were understanding and patient. I was happy to take a chance on a lesser known company. They want the jobs and want you happy with the results. I highly recommend them.

Strout Brothers moved an 820lb gun safe down a hill, down a drop, and into my basement without any hitches whatsoever. Three charismatic hard working Mainers who made the move no problem. On an additional note, I asked for a quote from the “premier moving company of Maine” before I went to Strout Brothers, and they flat out told me they couldn’t do it. Strout Brothers had it moved within two days of my first phone call. 10/10 would recommend these gentlemen.

This review is long over due!!! I can't say enough on how accommodating and professional Strout Brothers were. They came to my rescue at the last minute. I needed assistance that day after another moving company bailed on me!!! They were busy with another move that morning but assured me they would assist me that same day after their first job!!! I offered to assist them to pack the truck but they insisted for me to relax and they will do the job for me!!! And that they did!!!! My family was not sure if all my belongings would fit in the 20 foot moving truck that I rented. But they strategically made it all fit!! They are exceptional!!!! Great group of hard workers that I would highly recommend!!!

Our firm used Strout Brothers for an international move headed to Denmark. Scott went above and beyond to accommodate the client, packed items at his residence, storage unit and loaded everything into the 20ft container. Scotts team did an amazing job of wrapping/packing the shipment for international transport to ensure it arrives safe and sound. Would recommend 110%! Thanks guys!

These guys are the BEST!!! We had a 6,500sqft house with a TON of furniture and boxes,and these guys handled it amazingly. They showed up and worked really hard. They were very nice and understanding of our requests and got the job done quickly and safely. I would absolutely recommend James and his crew for all your moving needs!!!!
