Love this little gem of a sweet shop! Not only is the food delicious, the sweets amazing, but this bakery is a blessing to the community. Every time we walk in Bluegrass & Buttercream, we are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Our first order was a dozen red velvet cupcakes for my husband’s birthday. Amazing service and amazing cupcakes! First time trying and I'll definitely be going back.nnThe store was very clean and made you feel very welcome. The lighting in the building was very warm and again very welcoming. The owner is super nice and really cares about what she does. Not only do they have baked goods but they also serve lunch on certain days!nnGive this little shop a stop when going by. It is because of stores like this that make me love the city I live in.
The cakes and cupcakes that come out of this bakery are nothing short of perfection! We drive from Lexington when we want a delicious, special treat! I highly recommend you stop by and try this scrumptious, cozy, downtown shop as soon as possible!
Great local deserts. A little too pricey for me to be a steady customer but hey, you get what you pay for and it's delicious.
