Mokena is very lucky to have this gem of a music shop. Our boys took Bass guitar and piano lessons for a few years and had a great experience doing so. Bill is one cool dude who will find you whatever instrument you may be looking for and can fix any one you break. Side note: he also has a sweet recording studio across the street if you are interested in locking those tunes down. If You or your kids are looking for lessons or you’re looking for some great used or new equipment you have to give Axes a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Words cannot describe the incredible service Axes Music has provided me for years. Not only have the incredible talented staff taught me how to play many instruments, they have carefully guided me into a career in music which I absolutely love. This business is absolutely incredible and each and every member of their staff is extremely talented, and very friendly. Overall Axes Music is the place to go for music lessons, instrument service, and professional recording.

Of course, this is a biased opinion. I am the owner. Our students and teachers are wonderful to work with and have a work ethic that supersedes the aesthetic of a performance centered curriculum. We have 15 years teaching experience in the Lincoln-Way area and are quite proud to have seen many students continue their musical education through and well past college. We are very concerned that you have a complete understanding of your chosen instrument. Of course, if it's just some songs to kick around a campfire you want to learn we do that too. We do so in a way that draws similarities between songs to make it easier to pick things up on your own. Hope to see you soon!nnRegards,nBill
