I always LOVE my spa experience at Algonquin however on the past 2 visits, the desk staff (one person in particular) has always been curt and sub par on the happy meter. This older woman never seems to be happy or helpful and the fact that she faces your clients first and last does not leave me with the complete and total calming and relaxing experience expected. All she needs to do is smile, that could help a lot even if she is miserable on the inside! Not someone I would want greeting my happy clients regularly in my humble opinion.

I had a back injury from working out. After a week of taking anti-inflammatories, stretching, and resting, I was still having a lot of spasms and discomfort. I decided to schedule an appointment for a massage. Scott was my massage therapist and he was amazing! I normally tend to go to female massage therapists but I’m so glad I ended up with Scott. He took time to ask me specifically where I wanted him to focus on. He continued to ask how the temperature of the stone felt against my back and adjusted it to my level of comfort. He also knew when to apply more pressure and when to ease up. I left out feeling 100% better. I was able to bend again and the spasms slowed down, allowing me to have more flexibility and mobility. This was such an awesome experience that I purchased the massage package and scheduled my next appointment with Scott. If you are on the fence, please check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

Went there a few months ago and they give you a work around on price. They tell you if you sign up now for membership and can waive the enrollment fee of 40$ as soon as you leave its no longer waived. Then the next person they said the same thing but, told them they can go home and discuss with significant other and just call, they will honor the waived fee.nnToday- I had an appointment for 4pm through online, called the verify and indeed it was good to go. Then they call me 2 hours later at 3pm (45 mins before I'm suppose to be there) and tell me they need to cancel due to them over booking. This place is a joke don't recommend it . Also the hourly massage pricing is 115$.

I have had a couple of massages from Carolina, and I have not been disappointed. She listens to your massage needs, and knows the perfect pressure for what you're looking for. Over all never had a bad experience and I recommend Hand and Stone to anyone looking for a relaxing massage.
