Massage Envy

Great service! Scheduled an appointment a week in advance. Filled out paperwork and iPad questionnaire (areas to be massaged) at the front desk (friendly desk lady). Took 5 minutes to fill out. Another 5 minutes later the Masseuse walked over to the lounge room, called my name, and guided me to one of the massage rooms while having friendly conversation. She was a chill and relaxed individual. And to top it off, the service was considerably more affordable than competitors in the area. I recommend this place to people who just want something affordable, decent, and straight-to-the-point.

My dad had an hour appointment, they cut it down to half an hour and only massaged one area. Big let down!

I can only speak to my experience, which was a prenatal massage.nnFirst and foremost, they did not seem equipped to do prenatal massage. The body pillow, which was two, flat, pillows tucked under a sheet, did not conform to my body to be able to lay comfortably. The very sad, flat head pillow provided no support so my shoulder was in pain the duration of the massage.nnAs for the massage, it was ok. Not wonderful, amazing, relaxing, or something I’d indulge in again, but not terrible. For one, it helps when a therapist asks questions like, “do you prefer more firm or soft pressure?” But I’m fine providing that direction. Where I cannot provide direction is “please use lotion” that seems like an odd request, but my skin it was getting friction burn. In all my past massages I’ve enjoyed, the intro is getting me into a relaxed state, gently massaging the skin, followed by methodically working individual muscle groups, focusing attention on areas that need it. Instead I got aimlessly rubbed up and down for 90 minutes. There was no thoughtful attention to alleviating pain points that I mentioned in consultation. There wasn’t even enough attention to my comfort for the therapist to tell when I was wincing in pain, because the area I asked to stop being rubbed (because it had enough friction burn) was still being rubbed.nnThe facility was nice and clean, everyone courteous and professional. But from this experience, I will not be returning. Massages are expensive and to not feel fully relaxed upon leaving means it was not a good investment.

Today is the third time in a row they’ve cancelled my appointment that I was looking forward to last minute . My appointment was at 915am. They call me at 840am and get my voicemail. I call them back at 846 am and get there voicemail. I Drive to there location and low and behold they cancel my appointment again . I pay for a membership which I recently had to cancel as I have massages stacking up every month from there cancellations and me being busy. Quite frustrating .. I want a refund on all these unused massages I have since services cannot be provided when I want them .

I was very disappointed after making an appointment and was kept waiting in the car for almost 30 minutes without a call for service. I called to let them know am still waiting but no reasonable answer was given and I left.
