I just had Funeral services at Woodlawn Funeral Home at Forest Park for our uncle Enrique Hernandez. I am pleased to say that I received a lot of assistance from Alicia Jacklin and Salma Valadez to get all the arrangements in order. They work great together and I could say they are very empathetic and caring towards the families that choose Woodlawn Funeral Home for their loved services. I appreciate all that Monica Rodriguez did for us on the day of wake and burial service she was very attentive on both days.

I have always had the greatest experiences at Woodlawn Cemetery. I have many generations of family buried here and everyone in the funeral home and out in the cemetery has always done amazing work. Elsa Espada has always had amazing attention to detail and always has shown compassion when handing our affairs. When I held my mothers service here she handled everything beautifully. I am always happy to call in or stop into the funeral home whenever I stop by my families plot. They’ve always made me feel like family, which is so important in these heartbreaking times.
Woodlawn Cemetery / Woodlawn Memorial Park is a well-kept cemetery dating back to the 19th Century. A recent visit and research for a relative showed that there are more than 14,000 burials. There are a large number of Bohemians (Czech) and other Eastern European family names from nearby Berwyn, Stickney, and Brookfield. I thank the groundskeepers for the good work they do taking care of this property.
