Our experience was with buying a Hot Tub. My wife and I really went back and forth about going the cheap route and ordering one online or Crome Home Depot/Lowe’s. But after reading many reviews and articles, we decided we would pay a little extra and go with a local retailer. Altman’s was an amazing experience, and we are glad we did. He helped us understand what we were buying, how to care for it, and helped significantly with transport. He even meet us after hours to help us get the hot tub we wanted quickly. The best part is the warranty that comes with the hot tub gives us a huge piece of mind.

Altmans is the place to go for a hot tub!!!nnI shopped and researched hot tubs for a year. I Looked at how many jets, how many motors, warrantees, ozonators, lights, waterfalls, 110 versus 220, sizes and shapes, acrylic versus cast.nnI visited several local stores but when I finally went to Altmans what I realized was that a local dealer whose name came up many times amongst friends was THE MOST important factor. Mike at the Champaign store took such care to find out my needs and educate me on the products. I realized that what you really want, first and foremost, is a company that truly believes in their product and will help you through making the right choices for your family and any future help you may need, from getting chemistry right to getting the installation done. When we couldn’t get an electrician Mr. Altman found me one to hook it up the day it was delivered! He was there for me every step of the way. He was available by text on a Sunday to help me get the chemicals right! The delivery guys were polite and knowledgeable. They walked me through chemicals and got the tub installed into a vey tight delivery location.nnI love my hot tub and use it every evening. The entire process has been perfect! Thank you Altmans! You are the place to go!!!

Recently had Altman's re-felt a pool table I bought from them 10 years ago. Workmanship was superb. Their installation teams are absolute craftsmen, paying attention to the smallest of details to create a fantastic finished product. They also offered a custom monogramming option for the rails that worked out great, providing a personalized end product.nCustomer service from both the Bloomington and Urbana locations was excellent and everything happened exactly as promised. Highly recommended!
