Honestly it is a true scientific miracle that they managed to make a sandwich with negative flavor. I slathered it in BBQ sauce and put a ton of pickles on it to try and salvage it, to no avail. It still tastes like nothing. Also somehow both burned and soggy at the same time. The soggy part might be my fault though because I took a bit before eating it. The cupcakes are dry and flavorless, and no amount of “the flavor is in the frosting” is gonna fix them. I also wish that the water wasn’t full of soggy orange peels, but some folks really like that kind of thing. Great lemon bars and cookies though, and a nice little shop. Just be very careful with what you get as you figure out what’s good on the menu.
I enjoyed the Variety of items they had and the service was okay. I was excited to get a cake from there. It was a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was absolutely beautiful, but the frosting that covered the entire cake tasted like 100%butter...almost as if the sugar and vanilla was left out. Im not sure if it was a mistake, but I had to throw the cake out because it tasted like I was eating a stick of butter. Hoping to try again sometime for a better flavor
The best bakery in town! A true delight
My husband got a cake for me here and it was not only beautifully decorated it was so delicious! The cake part was moist and full of pumpkin flavor and the frosting was buttery and smooth. Most cakes, like from Costco or grocery stores, are so sweet that it makes me face tense up, and my eyeballs hurt. This cake does not do that. Feeds 8? If you want to share..
