The new walk up window was great! Delicious pastries and something for the whole family. Highly recommend.
I had hope that they would have a wider variety of pastries much like Alon's in Atlanta but that really has not been the case. I was enjoying the almond croissant but the quality was inconsistent. They do have great cookies. They have also had some delicious pastry items but it seems I have only seen those on Saturdays. All in all a wider selection would be great.
Food was excellent. Lots of freshly made pastry choices. You wait in line to place your order at the counter, get your own silverware and napkins, and even bus your own table, which I don't really mind considering the concept.nnThe default 20% tip on the register as you digitally sign is pretty bold though, considering.
My Conecuh Sausage scone was delicious, and my coffee was hot. However, the staff was extremely condescending. I don't need overly enthusiastic service by any means, but talking down to me is a great way to tell me you don’t appreciate my business. I will go back to the other less convenient bakeries around town where a genuine smile and sincere thank you are easier to come by.
Great bakery/smaller meal options that are made from real, fresh ingredients. Lemon meringue croissant was awesome. Breakfast sandwich was good (if not a little messy), but it’s hard to blame the ripe avocado & super fluffy eggs. Great coffee too with oat milk option.
