My family and I usually love Cracker Barrel. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is comfortable. However our most recent visit was anything but pleasant. We had to wait around 30 minutes to be seated which wasn’t really an issue, but after we were seated it was a 5+ minute wait to even have our drink order taken, we were ready to order our food and our waitress told us real quick that we would have to wait to place our meal order. After our meal order was finally placed it was over a 20min wait and our waitress didn’t come to us and apologize or anything. Didn’t bring us biscuits or anything. I finally asked for some biscuits just to tie my children over who were over it at this point, trust me, we were over it as well, when we were finally brought our biscuits our food finally came out. The food was cold, plates were hot. Definitely the worst meal I’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel. I am over all highly disappointed. Our waitresses name was Nicole C. Nicole, if you see this, you really need to work on your hospitality and customer service.nnJust a note, the restaurant wasn’t even very busy. Were there other people? Yes. But not so many that it was overwhelming.

Service was very good but cook needs to go change tires. Breakfast today at Oxford Al was not what I expected. Sausage tasted dry and like it sat under a heat light all night. French toast was gummy and no powdered sugar. Have not figured why the do then they don't. paid check and left.
