Holiday Inn Express & Suites Parkersburg - Mineral Wells

Great place!! I travel a lot and decided to take my 8 year old to stay here for the pool. Very clean place the pool and hot tub was amazing very clean and due to covid you book your party for 1 hour it was nice to have the pool to yourself for a hour.. We was late getting to Breakfast,but the lady was very nice her name was Benita she hooked us up with to go bags even offered to fix us eggs, and gave us cinnamon rolls! ud83dude0d Its nice to know there’s still good people out there! Just WOW. My mom recently had a bad fall and we needed a handicap room for a few Nights. The staff was literally a God send. They went above and beyond to help in any way possible. The rooms were so clean. Cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about the Team at this hotel. Highly recommend.

The rooms are very clean and nice and big. The staff is great. The only thing I would say they need to take a look at is the hot tub, it is not that hot and some if the jet dont work right. Also the pool is like walking into a ice bath.

When I checked in at 2:00 PM the service was wonderful he was very helpful and very kind. The room was very clean the pool looks very inviting. But when I came back at 9:30 PM the lady at the front desk was extremely rude As soon as I walked through the door only thing I could smell was cigarette smoke (I have asthma). The front desk lady WOULD NOT greet us and she was disrespectful. I went out to my car and she was smoking right next to the door when there is a sign that says you have to be 15 feet to smoke away from the door. If the staff won’t follow the rules why would the guests. I’m very disappointed because I was having such a great time on my vacation until her.

Oh my, what a great location. After being without power for days at home due to the ice storms coming through, the swimming pool and the fantastic jacuzzi, were just what we needed. The staff was friendly. The only disappointing part was not being able to sit in the cafe area to each and the selections didn't seem as many as usual for breakfast items. Overall, I would visit this location again.
