Great Festival. Had shuttles to take you into the town. Lots of vendors most had reasonable prices. Wine, food, an lots of other things for sale. Good apple dumplings too.
Really big & interesting. Lots of mountain skill demos, special crafts, costumes, special local foods. Contests like beards & hog calling. Mountain music live. Local handmade quilt auctions, etc. Really pro organized with free tram rides to way off site parking. So big 2 main roads shut down but most GPS warn u of traffic slowdown . If you stuck in traffic, park & enjoy the festival!
Great event in Berkeley Springs: amazing music, food, art, produce, entertainment, fun, joy, and...APPLE BUTTER and APPLE CIDER. Never had seen so many people in Berkeley Springs. People are very nice and everybody is having fun. One of my dreams is to move to Berkeley Springs, is possible in the English Castle on the hill.
Absolutely a terrible experience where a town shuts down a Federal Hiway for an hour and a half. They forget or don't care about the rest of the world driving a main Hiway. Totally thoughtless. Worst management of an event ever.
