The staff were very kind during the process of planning the funeral; sadly, we ran into multiple issues including, but not limited to:nn1. The Cemetery still remains unpaid, two months post funeral. (We paid Beaty Funeral Home upfront and have an itemized receipt.) Every time I have called, they’ve insisted it would be taken care of.nn2. Misspelling on Death Certificate—the same name is spelled correctly in one place, and misspelled in another.nn3. The Pallbearers were to be allowed to carry the casket from the car to to the burial site, rather than at the main service. Instead, the coffin was carried to the graveside immediately upon arrival, instead of waiting for the Pallbearers, although they were all on location. (This was important due to our having a closed service because of a Covid Death, and the only open service was the graveside.)nn4. The original obituary was full of misspellings (names and general words), poor grammar and wrong service times. I sent corrections repeatedly, then ended up rewriting the whole thing myself.nn5. We were told that they would file the life insurance policies for us, so we gave them all the information they asked for. I received a call from Beaty about a week after the funeral asking if I wanted them to file. I was told they didn’t know if they needed more information and were unsure of how to proceed. I picked up the information from them, and we filed ourselves.nn6. Although I was the designated contact and signee for all paperwork and questions regarding the service, my mother was called multiple times. (This may seem trivial, but leaving my mother unburdened by these matters was the whole point.)nnI had not intended to air any of this; however, after calling repeatedly to no avail, and being told both Saturday and today that I would receive a phone call back TODAY regarding the unpaid status of the Cemetery bill—which did not happen, I have decided to leave this review in hopes that others will not have to go through these types of things during some of the most difficult moments in life.nnBeaty Funeral Homes has been used by my family for years. It is with sincere regret that I felt the need to write this.

The staff was helpful and courteous with the service. The program that Missy designed was the best I have ever seen. I would like to thank everyone associated with Todd’s service. May God Bless all of you.nThank you,nBilly

They did not get my flowers to the correct service. They sent them to another service happening at the same time. They refused to acknowledge their mistake.
