There's a good and varied selection of releases, but I would never buy anything from here because of the price. Even the used records all seem overpriced. The most bizarre example was a USED Mountain Goats record being sold for $40, when I can get a new one online for $20.
3hive is a great place to get records. They also support the local music scene, so gotta love that.
They have a great selection of records with a wide price range a good return and replacement policy and the staff was super friendly
As much as I love stepping into a poorly lit, dust-coated record store and having to navigate carefully between stacks of old vinyl, it's actually refreshing to patronize a place that is, well, clean and orderly. 3hive has a well-curated and reasonably priced selection of mostly new vinyl. The employees are actually pleasant to talk to and I don't hesitate to sit on their couch and deliberate over just which of these five records to take home until, whatever, let's just get all five.
Cool record store. More new stuff than used though.
