First time going to a show at Velour. Won't be the last. Awesome night and great staff. Minus the "shushing" the sound guy gave people during a rock show...
Some of my favorite Provo memories have been made at the Velour. We have so many talented local groups and it's so great that there is a place for them all to congregate. The music is great, the atmosphere is great, the prices for admission also great!
No other place in the Valley can boast such a commitment to promoting live, original music. The Velour has such a committed following that many bands have been promoted to take the leap and start up simply because they know they have a great shot at an audience here. As a musician, that's a big deal! Thanks!
I love this venue! The atmosphere is hip and lively, the lighting is spectacular and of course the acoustics are phenomenal! I've attended live shows and rented the venue for a private party. I highly recommend checking out the live shows!
I have tried to give this place a chance, but it is more like a beauty pageant than a venue.
It also seems like they have a bunch of highschool kids running sound. I would recommend Bills Warehouse. It's a real venue, ran by real musicians!
