I called and talked to woman on phone and was told that there was no special lock requirement. When I arrived on property to pay, I was charged $16 for a special lock. Good one ud83dude11 The manager on site said that the special locks were required but I see other units using regular locks. There are also other fees to consider like insurance and administrative fees so don't be fooled by the online price.

This is a great short term storage solution. I needed storage on short notice and my inquiry was promptly addressed. The customer service was knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. There was a variety of storage options allowing me to choose the one that fit my needs and my budget. The facility is clean and I was impressed with the condition of my storage unit. I would recommend Extra Space Storage for anyone needing temporary storage space, especially on such short notice.

I went there to get something out of my grandson's unit and to put more of his stuff in there. The place is very large, over 700 units and you need a gate code to get in. But you only have access until 10PM! If you have to have a code for the gate you should be able to get in 24 hours a day. I had a storage unit at a different facility awhile back and I was able to access my unit 24/7 because it too required a gate code.

Working with Extra Space Storage has been a breeze. Kasey and Ashley are both a joy to work with at this location. They both are attentive to the needs of their customers and are willing to assist in any way with determining the proper unit size. I have recommended this location to multiple friends and will continue to use them for all of my storage needs!

Very friendly and easy to work with. Florence doesn’t have much for options for parking the semi-truck. Auto payments and the freedom of a month to month lease makes this a great solution. This place is secure and priced fair.
