I've used Nelson Markesbery twice now, and I will use them for every move in the future. The office staff is great, and responsive. The movers themselves were awesome! They work quickly and efficiently, and were friendly, professional, and courteous. They might not be the least expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. You wont go wrong using this company.

These guys are top notch. They were not expensive and really like how they would go down from quoted price if they packed less or the truck weighed less. They do not go over the quoted price. There was an issue with the truck and still were able to deliver on time. Would recommend them to anyone moving in the area.

Great company! Very quick and efficient. They also take very good care of each piece of your furniture wrapping it and securing it. I would absolutely use this company again for my next move.

We moved from Edgewood Kentucky to Florida. Marksbery moved me in 1996 and did a great job.nNot this time. Packing was haphazard and rushed (we had a 9000 sq ft home ). Storage was fine.nThe final move to Florida was a disaster! Three lamp shades made of glass were damaged beyond repair. These lamp shades are irreplaceable. A tripod for my astronomical binoculars was damaged and is unusable. They packed two glass lampshades with a couple sheets of wrapping paper! Unreal!! No other protection!nnIn return for our losses, they sent a check for $180.....they told me that was more than the industry standard.nnI am not concerned about the money, we have lost invaluable lamps.nnThis moving company was sloppy and careless as far as we are concerned. They have received good reviews so our experience may be isolated.nJohn S.

Used this company today for my moving - they did a phenomenal job! First off, I was able to schedule a move just a few days after calling. The men who came to move were incredibly efficient and extremely kind. They made a stressful and dreaded experience go way more smoothly than I could have expected! I wish I had their names to give them the credit they deserve. Thanks for everything!
