Lowe's Home Improvement

I've gone to this store for years. The prices are decent, the selection is generally good, but the quality of the staff often depends on the section of the store. The paint people, for instance, have always been great. But today I had the most frustrating experience I've ever had there. Unless I know what I want and where it is in the store, I'm not doing much shopping there anymore.nnI was in earlier this week and picked up a little rug. It looked so good in the house, we decided to get more of them. I went online and saw they had a couple more in a larger size. Great! I tried to order them online, but it wouldn't finish submitting. So today I thought I'd just go pick them up at the store. I came in and asked a couple workers what aisle the throw rugs are in. They sent me into Lawn & Garden. Where they have a few of those polyester outdoor patio rugs. So I headed back where I thought they were. I found the rug section but not the larger rugs. So I grabbed one of the smaller ones and looked for someone to ask about them. I found an employee near the front, and I asked about the rugs and also clips for mirrors. He sent me the right way for rugs but the mirror hardware was a bust. He had sent me into drawer and door handles. He said someone would meet me in rugs, but nobody ever showed up. So I stood there in the rug aisle, holding my box of light bulbs, no mirror clips, no rugs, no one else around. I went back up front to ask about the rugs again. The only workers I could find were the cashier and checkout helper. I put my lightbulbs down and left. I can't believe the people who work there don't know where things are or show up to help.

ONLY two cash registers open... more than 15 customers waiting in each line!!!

One stop hardware store. Great store overall. I had to edit my review and lower it from a 4 star to a 3 star review Although I was thinking of giving them a 2 star review. This is soley on the basis that there is always a line to pay. Why should we wait 5-7 minutes to hand them money. Its as if they don't want it. This is ridiculous. I as a DIYer, used to visit this store 1 - 2 times a week. I now visit competitors even though I live just down the street. Their self check out registers seem to not work as of late as well which adds to the wait time even more. With a pandemic going on, a line is not only inconvenient but irresponsible on their part regardless of them having social distancing and masks being mandated. This store will lose more customers cause of this. It's a shame as I lovenmy Lowe's store. This store just appears to either be slightly under staffed or they have too many people in the wrong places not properly trained as I waited in the lumber area 3 weeks ago for 20 min. This store is poorly managed or the company is cracking down on labor. Not good.
