Stopped in today, after reading about this place online, and I was not disappointed! I tried the turtle cheesecake and a vanilla iced latte, and my husband got a chocolate croissant. Everything was superb! The cheesecake was creamy and the turtle topping was the perfect finish. The latte had a great nutty notes, and the chocolate croissant was flaky, and crisp, and so so fresh! I will definitely be back again soon!

Tonight I ate the best chocolate cheese cake I have ever eaten! It’s not a regular dessert, but they were kind enough to make it for us upon request. We also got an assorted variety of mini cupcakes which were absolutely fabulous. I’m a big fan and will be returning for more:). I highly recommend!

I've been wanting to swing by this place for months! I finally was able to this morning around 10. I came in with my 11 month old in my arms and just wanted to grab a few cupcakes to try at home. The barista was not exactly cheerful or really friendly. After leaving with a not so great vibe, I guess I don't really feel comfortable ordering a cake from here after all. So sad too, their selection was actually pretty good. ud83dude15

I have been a customer since Red Dessert Dive opened in the Heights. After my 3rd time experiencing a very rude staff member - I am posting. Look, you're a dessert place. In a nice neighborhood. We are coming in and overpaying for basic desserts so your staff could at least be somewhat kind. I'm not expecting some sort of grand treatment, but seriously - get your staff in check. I will no longer be recommending you to friends and family. Head up to common bond where the staff aren't rude. Sad to see this place going way downhill since opening.

This place does not even know which side is up. I live out of town and wanted to place an order for some relatives in Houston as a gift. First I called and they said they didn't have sugar cookies. I contacted my relatives to get a second choice. I called back and they then told me they had iced sugar cookies. Next a second clarification from my relatives as to choice. I called back again, but it took 4 times to even get someone to answer the phone. Someone finally answered and told me they didn't know if they would have sugar cookies the next day. So sad. This place should be embarrassed to try to be functioning as a business.
