The salesperson, Maria, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous.nnOver the past 20+ years we have purchased all of furniture from a competitor but decided to try Star for the purchase of a recliner. As previously mentioned, the salesperson was excellent but I was surprised when I saw the $49.95 delivery charge and was told they would not take the old recliner away. I explained to Maria that the store I normally do business at delivers free. She checked with her supervisor and the delivery charge was removed. The other thing that I wasn’t happy about was the 7 day period before delivery.nnI completed the purchase for 3 reasons:n1). The salespersonn2). I liked the reclinern3). It was getting late in the afternoon and I didn’t feel like fighting the traffic to drive to North Houston.

I was greeted at the door by Salesman, Sammy. He was very helpful in showing me to the area of furniture I was interested in. He did not waste my time and I was sold on the second set of bedroom furniture he showed me, because he asked me the type of style I was looking for.nnThank you Sammy. Hattie Kirby did an outstanding job of making sure that we were totally satisfied with our experience and our ultimate purchase. She took her time so that she truly understood what we wanted and needed, honing in on the items that best met our needs. Our experience was amazing. I’m been a customer at Star for several decades and it’s my first place to shop for beautiful furniture and accessories. The sales personnel are always helpful and gracious with no pressure to buy. I appreciate their sales and great delivery service. You can’t go wrong shopping at Star.

Loved that they do not breathe down your neck and push you to purchase. I got 2 rugs from here and am awaiting my bed. The ladies are nice and get you what you need as well as help you look for what best suits you and answers any questions you have.
