We went to Plantation Furniture in early January to look for several things while supporting a locally owned business. We drove well out of our way to go here. I liked the fact that we were not met at the door by lurking sales people. We did meet Connie and she was helpful and pleasant, but didn't hover.nWe found a dining table and chairs we liked and bought them. While at the checkout, the lady who appeared to be in charge (I assume the owner) was anything but friendly. We were told that our table would be ordered and they didn't have them in stock. We were told they would update us on delivery, likely in mid-February.nFrom then on things didn't go well. Anytime we wanted an update, my wife had to call. We were told at one point that it was on the truck on its way to Houston. After several more weeks my wife called again and was told it would be the mid to end of March. Midway through March my wife called again and was told that the chairs and bench were in, but the table apparently was never ordered. Now it was going to be more like June/July. We then asked if we could get the floor model table so we didn't have to wait. After another phone call they said yes we could and I asked what that would cost, assuming since it was the floor model and had been there for several months they would come off the price. We were told no, it would be what we paid. Very frustrated I then asked if since we have been told different things about the delivery of the pieces, would they at least deliver it to us, for which they told me the delivery charge. I asked if they would waive it considering the circumstances and after checking (I assume with the owner) we were told no, they would not waive it. I paid it just so we could get the furniture.nAfter it was delivered my wife called and asked about getting an additional chair to go with the table. We are still awaiting a call back, which has been 5 days now.nThey can run their business any way they choose, which apparently is not to keep paid customers updated on their furniture, telling different stories about the status of the furniture and then holding a hard line when they could have made a small gesture which would have made us feel better about really what has been a very disappointing experience.nWe will NOT be doing any more business with them and would NOT recommend them.

The great reviews about this place on Google are true! We have been looking for living room furniture since July with no luck. Delivery dates were nuts and most places were out of inventory. I had decided that after months of looking and finding items that were either not in stock or crazy long delivery dates or worse, no delivery dates to be determined, that this would be the last place I would try and if unsuccessful we would go ahead and just order online, without seeing or trying out in person. I'm so happy that we gave this place a try. Jennie was our sales person and she got right down to business with us, letting us know what was available, what wasn't, and firm knowledge on when we could expect delivery. I don't know how she did it, but we were able to receive our furniture today! Same day delivery, pretty much unheard of during these covid times. Currently, I am relaxing on our beautiful new couch while writing this review. Our furniture is beautiful and I cannot wait to return for additional accent pieces. They have so many beautiful items and reasonably priced. I highly recommend and will definitely return!

My family has been shopping at Plantation Furniture for at least 20 years, and we have made many purchases in that time. We’ve always been very pleased with every item, and we keep returning because of the high quality furniture and great customer service.nnOur most recent purchase was a reclining leather sectional for our living room. We’ve been really happy with it, and were upset when we discovered our dog had chewed through all the power cables underneath one of the recliners & it was frozen in place. I contacted the store, and they were able to quickly order the parts necessary to repair it. And when the parts arrived, they sent a couple of their wonderful employees over & had it back in working order in minutes. They really went above and beyond to take care of us.

I was looking for a discontinued chair to match one I have & called several stores but THIS girl suggested I buy two to match since I couldn’t find just the one. No one else even suggested that & then she went out of her way to find 2 that met my criteria. Madi s a super sales woman and so friendly & helpful. Hard to find that kind of help these days. She gets an A+
