D-Town Movers

I reached to this company for moving service last week because I was stood up by my original movers. I was instructed to text ED and I did so immediately. I explained my situation to Ed. He assured me that they would help me. He referred me to a sales rep and I was able to secure a 2p-4p slot with a deposit but I was also told I can get an earlier slot if unforeseen issues may arise. I waited until 4p. I called the company for an estimated time of arrival. I was told by a rep that I was rescheduled until 5p-8p, without any communication. I also texted Ed but this time he didn't reply. I waited but kept in touch with the company because they wouldn't call and update me on anything or reply to text anymore. I was to told by a rep that the company wouldn't leave the office until every customer is moved. It was then 8pm I called but the company or ED didn't reply. Yet, they processed my payment. Imagine you waiting on movers, they stop answering the phone but you get a notification from your bank around 830-9p that your payment has been processed. I lost money for my vacation I scheduled this weekend and I also had to pay the apartments at market rate for still occupying the apartment. I have never received an apology or anything. I called but was told I had to file a claim to receive my money back. Save yourself a headache.

Called and was able to get a move the next day. The movers were on time and worked well moving me from a 3rd fl apt to a 1st fl appt. They were pleasant and I was very comfortable with them moving my items. Vaughn was interactive with keeping me up to date before the move. Aaron, drove very cautious with my belongings. Overall, very pleased with the process.

Schedule movers they called last minute to cancel twice! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Manager got on the phone being rude and unprofessional even hung up on me! Would never use this company !nnUpdate: I’m changing my review ONLY because of the amazing workers that were sent to me. They worked fast and got the job done. Sweet and professional! The manager of this company DEFINITELY hung up on me when expressing my concerns about my move after telling me to cancel them since they couldn’t come out there rude and disgusting ud83eudd2e. But the drivers were amazing.!

Very satisfied with the service from last minute scheduling with Vivian to the unloading of our Uhaul by Dion and Jonathan. They were all three FABULOUS!!! We will use them again, no doubt! We called them the day of needing them because the other company we hired was a no-show. D-town showed up within a couple hours and took care of us! Everyone was polite, professional and excellent deal with!

UPDATE: Edward refuses to give us refund due to bad review. Disputing with my bank, I planned on updating review once refund was received but he won’t willingly give it and then he LIED and said they didn’t show up twice. Haha, what a liar. Don’t even think about using them.nWe scheduled with them to move us for 12/30 and they would be at our house at 11 am. 11 am comes nothing so we call them. We are told due to the weather they are delayed and will be there between 1:30-2:00 pm. 2:00 pm comes and no movers we are then given another story about why they are not there and it will now be 5:00 ok or later. Then finally we are told it’s not happening and they will come today 12/31 at 9 am. Well 9 am no one came, we called and were told they were coming they were getting the truck ready and getting gas!! Ummm why would you just be getting gas and truck ready at 9:23 when your suppose to be here at 9 am.. so we called and got other movers. Edward refused to get on the phone with my husband when he called to let him know we want our deposit refunded and we don’t need them any more. Beware!!!! If they aren’t a scam I don’t know what they are. Unprofessional is one word. I’ll refrain from the rest. I’ll update when or IF we get our refund. They haven’t done anything they said they would do so I won’t be surprised if I have to dispute it with my bank.
