I agree the cemetery is amazing for historical and honorable respect, but the current condition is not respectful of ancestors. Old dead limbs and branches (Dec. 2020) cover many tombstones and mowed grass covers the grave markers. Whomever maintains the cemetery has failed to prune trees which are damaging the tombstones. I have pictures if anyone needs documentation.
The cemetery as a whole is amazing. There is truly a lot of history here. As a cemetery goes with all of the lives that do what they do after their lives have ended, can be, well somewhat like being around a lot of death. Too say bluntly. It is a crying shame there is so much more modern that antiquity. But if you like looking at old cemeteries, there are some old ones here.
Great place to walk and learn
This used to be an old country cemetery that has been surrounded by the hustle and bustle of city life. Lots of history in this little place.
A lot of my in-laws are buried here and the area has grown up immensely around it.
