Tango Empanadas & Bakery

This is the second time I've been here. The service is great, the young man at the front took his time to explain specials and his favorite items on the menu. The food is delicious! Service is amazing, this has become one of our favorite local joints.

The food at this little secretive place was very good! I very much enjoyed my beef empanadas and sweets.nnHowever the young white male who served me whose name was close to Jason... I think. He should not be in the front at all, he was very rude to me and made me rush my order. I was astonished why he was being like that. Please talk to him if the owner see’s this, discipline him and make him stay in the back if he continues this behavior.nnFood was great.... I will recommend Tango Empanadas to my friends and family but that young male needs to fix his attitude.

Oh my gosh, these are absolutely delicious, authentic Argentinian empanadas which are baked, not fried! These are meal worthy, generous hand pies. This was my first visit and even though is a long drive for me I’ll certainly be coming back on a regular basis...nnI have no pictures to share because I forgot to take them before the empanadas were all gone at home...Anyway, my pictures would look just like the beautiful store photos!nnBefore I describe these wonderful goodies I just want to give a shout-out to the sweet lady at the counter...She’s polite, knowledgeable, and warmed the empanadas for me! ud83eudd70nnThere’s a large variety to choose from, both savory and sweet. The savory ones are “branded” with a little cute letter indicating their filling (C for chicken, B for beef etc). The sweet ones get a light sprinkling of sugar.nnThe crust is perfection, with lovely rolled edges, and an appetizing golden sheen. The fillings are satisfying large and well seasoned; each flavor tastes unique.nnThey come with yummy chimichurri and red-hot sauces. I added lemon juice drops at home. So good!!!nnThe sweet empanadas are as unique as their savory counterparts. Not too sweet and generous in size! I also couldn’t resist the dainty dulce-de-leche “cannons”, and both kinds of alfajores (melt in your mouth filled cookies) so I brought them home, too.nnI’m vegetarian and my sons are not. So I bought a mix of the savory empanadas and everyone was happy! The vegetarian options are not an “after thought”, or lacking in flavor at all. They were so delicious!
