Bias alert, my daughter works here. Today, I took my 5 year old great niece to Sweet's, to hang out while we waited for my daughter.nWe order strawberry smoothies and a piece of red velvet cake to share. We are served freaking fast, and make our way to a cozy spot in the back with two comfy cushioned chairs and a little table. The smoothie is perfect - that sweet spot of sweetness (but not too much of it), and ice and plenty of fresh strawberry blended just right - not too watery, not too ice-crunchy. The red velvet cake was the best. I am not much for desserts, but I could eat that any day. The cream-cheese center and frosting was... ahhhh!nThe atmosphere here is always great. As usual it was filled with college age students, but no one gave any weird looks at the older guy reading a children's book to his 5 year old friend.nIf you're out with your wife, or friends, or just yourself, this is an excellent place for a good cup of coffee (have had many of those), or a great smoothie (first time I tried that) or dessert (first time trying that red velvet, and holy smokes was that good).

This is a staple for College Station coffee! The coffee is here is solid, but the main event is the environment. The inside is decorated amazingly and provides and warm feeling to visitors. There are also many affordable food options. This is a great place to grab some Java, talk with friends, and play board games. Would definitely recommend!

A cafe with a great vibe and good Cappuccinos. Missed having brown sugar in my coffee. The scones are great the muffins AVG felt kind of doughy.

This best thing about this donut selling coffee shop is the fact that they are open till 1am! Their coffee is honestly some of the worst in town. Neat and quirky vibes inside, but unfortunately it can’t make up for the overly sweetened and under-extracted coffee they serve.

Went to sweet Eugene's today. My experience was 1-Star because of the staff. The only reason I averaged this out is because the place usually really positive. I always get my food on plates automatically and today they threw all 4 kolaches in one bag. 2 were ham and 2 were sausage, but I had no idea what was what. The vibe of the girl who was upfront with a faded red hat was horrible. She seemed snappy, and also she seemed not to care to be there. Really bring everyone's mood down. This girl is most likely the first person someone sees in the morning. So carrying that cloud around with her is going to bring other people down too.
