Dr. Homas and his staff are truly one of a kind! My experience has been so pleasurable and life changing! Doc, Tanja, Lily, Jessica, and Monica have taken the best care of me. I have never felt rushed, all of my questions were answered, and you really feel like a part of the family instead of just another patient.nI used to think that plastic surgery was really only something that people in Hollywood did but as a mom who just wanted to love herself again I explored it, and am so happy I did! He will need no follow – on surgeries and I am so grateful that Dr. Homas was my son’s surgeon.nnDr. Homas was recommended to me from a mutual family friend. During the last nine years of speaking with this mutual friend I heard the many exploits of Dr. Homas providing surgery and care for the Marshall Island children that were disfigured for generations with adverse birth defects due to the 1950s nuclear testing on the local indigenous population. My friend was a direct witness to the many surgeries Dr. Homas performed on these children with great result as he and Dr. Homas were both assigned to the same military command. I was inspired by these tales of Dr. Homas providing care for these complicated cases and I sought Dr. Homas out when the time was right for the care of my son.nnDr. Homas is truly exceptional as a surgeon, a leader, and as a man. When I began a dialog with him and his staff eighteen months ago, I did not feel rushed talking to him. I noted that he was undeniably humble and expressed his ideas and thoughts at the most basic level so that my young son could understand and comprehend what was being communicated to him. His humility and communication skills made my son comfortable and this in turn made me comfortable. Dr. Homas is a retired Army Full Bird Colonel with decades of service to his country. As such he does not need to do this, or anything at all, in retirement. It is my perception that he continues to serve people as a surgeon because it is his passion. It is my perception that Dr. Homas just wants to make people’s lives better. He is a hero to my son and to me.nnThe clinic is immaculate. The standards of cleanliness and safety are significantly above reproach. Patient care rooms were highly organized and supplied. I noted that the drawers were labeled with equipment that could be found in each drawer. When the nurse opened a number of drawers in the two rooms we received care I saw that the exact equipment labeled for that equipment drawer was present and in sufficient quantity within that drawer. It was all neat and orderly. This means that someone is conducting inventory and resupplying on a regular basis. This in turn means that patient care is expedited, for care and comfort of patient, in each room. This standardization demonstrates a level of discipline for those leading and executing the myriad of tasks essential for clinic operations. Although not understaffed by any means, Dr. Homas’ wife, Ms. Tanja Homas, took great pleasure in personally working with her staff as a member of the team to completely sanitize the operating room (OR) before my son was to enter the OR. Her presence and support during this unsavory task are significant. Ms. Homas has a multitude of years of experience working in direct patient care and leadership positions within the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and X-Ray subspecialty. This experience adds a distinct multiplier to the team. Ms. Homas knows how to both take care of patients and how to motivate and lead teams in the health care environment. She clearly demonstrated this during the pre-operation phase of sanitizing the OR with her team. This ‘Lead by Example’ demonstration explains why the staff works so well together; there is a “WE” mentality and not a “ME” mentality. There is a shared hardship and this bodes well for patient care. Additionally, Ms. Homas was thoroughly involved with the initial coordination and the follow – up care for my son. She reached out to me regularly to ensure he was progressing as intended. As the wife of a retired and well respected Plastic Surgeon, I can without hesitation, highly recommend Dr. Dallas Homas. I have personally been under his care and have complete confidence in his skill and desire to take the best care possible of me as a patient. He is a person of high integrity and spends a lot of time getting to know his patients and their needs. His staff is very warm and caring just as he is. Its refreshing to find a plastic surgeon with such gifted talent and a wonderful bedside manner. I recommend a consultation so you can see for yourself.

I scheduled an appointment a month out and I informed them that I would be driving an hour and a half for my appointment. I waited and drove out to find out that they didn't have me scheduled and that apparently the Dr was out so they would have to reschedule. The only thing they said was the the manager might have changed things and they should of called me. I should be getting $50.00 from them for my gas for the long drive! Very unprofessional practice. If you need to change or reschedule a patient PLEASE CALL THEM! DONT WASTE OUR TIME!
