I have driven by this dinner multiple times and it took a snow storm for me to try it out. When we called he explained he was the only one there aside from his chefs but said “come on over. We will have an adventure” and we wanted to for sure. He was running around like crazy when the dinner got full of hungry and desperate people trying to avoid being at home with no electricity. Were people kind... some. Where people still annoying demanding faster service... hell yes even though he mentioned several time he was the only one there. I found his attitude amazing. He was pushing through and servicing everyone. The food was great too. I felt cozy and happy to be in a place with someone like him. Thank you for being amazing!

What can I say but WOW! To start, the restaurant had an amazing atmosphere - great music and super friendly waitstaff. The food was the absolute best southern comfort food I’ve ever had, I highly recommend the chicken fried steak! The appetizers of fried pickles and fried mushrooms were hot and delicious, good with gravy or ranch! Delicious desserts, we took two pies to go!! Can’t to come back, 10/10!!!

Excellent fried chicken, something I could never find when I lived in Philly. Cole slaw has pineapple and that was an interesting experience. Homemade rolls are a highlight, don’t skip on them. Same for the homemade pies - goodness :)

Visiting a friend in San Antonio for a much needed girls weekend and was dying for some good fried chicken. It’s a super cute local restaurant outside the Pearl District but the excitement stopped there. The customer service was terrible—ruined the experience for us. The food took an hour to come out once order was placed which would have been fine but girls attitudes and lack of excitement left us wanting for more. The food is really good and the chicken hit the spot but the customer service did not make for a good experience. Really wish I could give more stars.
