Oren Wooden's Apple House

Best of the best! We got some apple's fresh and dried at a very good price. They have a nice selection of crafts upstairs too. Quilts, wood things and more. Downstairs apples, some vegetables, jams and jellies. Baked goods and a restaurant but we did not go onto that part this year but did a couple of years ago and the baked good were very good. We got there around 10 Eastern time and they we not too crowded. They open at 8 Eastern time.

It is our favorite place to go in the fall. The food is ALWAYS amazing. My favorite is the apple stuffed porkchops and sweet potato casserole.ud83dude0b We also love the apples. We buy them by the box. They have great prices. Friendly and helpful staff. We just love it there. I have nothing negative to say about it except it's always crowded. But that just goes to show how much people love it there.

Their apple pie and the apple dumplings are wonderful. Love that they have so many varieties of apples. Next year I hope to get their peaches too. I got some peach syrup and a salad dressing that were wonderful. Will definitely be back.

We went for the first time last November to get outside on a late Autumn afternoon. The highlights for us were the cafe food (really delicious) and that there were Rome Beauty apples, my favorite apple which has become impossible to find in grocery stores. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon trip!

The friendliest people you will meet. Mark and Sandy. They are Super Helpful and they know what kind of Apples are good for what you will use them for. This place had been there many years. They also have a bake shop. It is cash or check. They do have an ATM machine.
