Cookie Jar Cafe

Homestyle restaurant with cookie jars lining a shelf going around the whole restaurant. They have inside, as well as outside dining, on their porch. You'll be greeted by display cases of desserts when you enter; cupcakes, pie, brownies, & cake. You can get 3 sides with your entree, or a salad & 1 side. I got enough to feed me for at least 2 - 3 meals. And the food....oh my! The food was delicious! This is a very popular place, so you better make a reservation. And if you're coming from the east, don't forget the time zone difference, once we spring forward, like I did. They still got us a table pretty quick. For the amount of food you get, their prices were great. They've made the restaurant wheelchair accessible, but it is a little tight getting around inside. I highly recommend checking this place out. We came all the way from Lenoir City, & the drive was beautiful! Don't forget to leave room for dessert!

They have the BEST wedding cupcakes! just wish they would make more of them. I tried to pay for them over the phone until I got there but they wouldn't let me. I didn't understand why because ud83eudd37 if I paid in advance it would be my loss not theirs. I have driven there just for wedding cupcakes and they wouldn't have any and its a LONG drive for me. what's the difference in ordering food and paying with your card or cupcakesud83eudd37. My husband & I had lunch here today. It was good country cooking. Our food was hot, fresh, and fast! We also had an excellent waitress(Molly). Make sure to save room for dessert because you can't possibly leave this place without a slice of one of their MANY pies and cakes ud83dude0b We will definitely be back. This little gem is located in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the drive!

They wouldn't let my grandfather, my sister, and myself eat on the patio after we drove an hour. It WAS my grandfather's favorite place to eat. Ironic, they call their service friendly.

Excellent food and large portions! Beautiful view from porch. We were so full from lunch we didn't get a chance to try out their wonderfully displayed desserts.
