Embassy Suites By Hilton Charlotte Uptown

Came here for a few days just to get away from DC/MD area and to breath some new air. I could not have been any happier!! The layout was not like any other hotel, it felt more like a condo than a hotel. Very very clean, all employees were so nice and cleaning crew was very welcoming. Valet was very professional. Location was amazing and could walk to a few places. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be back when I visit Charlotte again. 5 stars

Let me start by saying I love the Embassy Suites, it's probably one of my favorite brands of hotel. So I stayed at this location just to have a romantic night. First error I called to make sure that there was still a managers reception and the made to order omelets that I love so much. I was told yes those services weren't discontinued due to covid. However after I got here and checked in I was told otherwise and offered a 39.99 brunch breakfast or something of the sort. Not happy at all, so I left to go enjoy the rest of the day. I get back to the room about 10pm, and get ready to clean the room and take my shower, THERE IS HAIR ALL OVER THE SHOWER FLOOR. I called to speak with a manager, and I am still waiting for her to return my call. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

We traveled with 4 kids and two adults and it accommodated us all perfectly. We all had our own space. The check-in was smooth. The room was clean, more than enough towels and rags. Bang for your buck.

The valet parking being the only option to park is SUPER inconvenient for all the guests that they have staying in the hotel and for its location. Literally the most valet drivers I seen on any day of my stay was 2! You can never call ahead to get your vehicle because valet NEVER picks up the phone. Takes way too long to get the vehicle especially if you have an emergency. Breakfast is a complete joke. They said it would be grab and go breakfast, and they literally only had muffins! I couldn’t get the staff to bring me anything up to the room they make you come to the front desk which defeats the purpose of staying in a hotel. This place needs serious re-evaluating.

The Customer Service skill definitely lacks here by Front Desk and Maintenance. We didn't have a working toilet until our second day and we were told there was nothing that could be done until a manager arrived 5 hours later in the day. We had to go downstairs every time we needed to use the bathroom until it was fixed. They didn't care enough that our toilet wasn't working and that's a problem. I expected more form Uptown Charlotte Embassy.
