Call the Kinston store pertaining to my delivery. Melissa was very rude, then she put disrespectful talking Sandra on the phone. I’m trying to explain my concern and apparently Terrance had got my delivery days screwed up, which was ok with me. I had already been waiting patiently since June 9th for my paid in full living room set, so waiting another week would have been fine had I not been disrespected, But what hurt me more than anything for Sandra to say that apparently Terrance has a disability since he couldnt get my deliver right. I informed Sandra numerous occasions throughout the conversation that she offended me. However, Sandra kept on saying that Terrance must be disabled if he couldn’t get it right. I told her she should not be talking about an employee like that. If she feels that way, then why should people go and shop there. This is still bothering me to the max and it happened on Friday. By the way, Sandra nor Melissa you do not need to forward me corporate number on this review as I see you all are doing because you all are well aware, I’ve contacted Corporate already. Terrance and the other men that work there great customer service.

The NEW MATTRESS THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED is way too small and nothing like the “queen” models they show in store. It WAS JUST DELIVERED and cannot be slept on. They will not exchange it even though they were contacted the day they reopened and customer service told us the first time we called they do exchange beds. There is nothing used. There’s an exchange policy listed for online orders and nowhere in that policy does it state mattresses are excluded... it states items will be inspected upon return. We have been sleeping on our old bed and left the new bed exactly as is while waiting for a resolution because the delivery person wasn’t about to take it back with them so what choice did we have? Once it it in your home they claim it is used?? Sleep number and surrounding stores will and have done bed exchanges that were actually slept on. They told us the waterproof mattress cover would be good enough to protect the bed anyway even if it had been slept on. But it wasn’t and they had us buy something online via their store with lies. I had an amazing experience at the store. I was helped by Tim Grange from the second I stepped into the store to the second I left. He was incredibly well informed about all the product and was very helpful in helping me find not only the best deal, but also the best couch that would suit my needs. You could tell he enjoys what he does. If you get the chance to shop at the Outlet store be sure to ask for his help, you won't be let down.

My spouse and I waited for hours to receive help and still had to return another day to finish a transaction. The transaction took hours as well with constant errors being made in paperwork. The item arrived and was not as described. Store would not take back because they consider something to be used the second it is delivered to the house. If you want a company that will be concerned with the customers happiness make sure to go to other furniture stores that will exchange or refund items if the customer is not happy with the quality, condition, or size of something they were not able to see except in a picture. Other stores will even exchange items you did try in store but didn’t like once they were in your home. And they change the reason why they won’t honor exchanges with each person that is talked to.

The absolute worst store and chain to do business with. They couldn’t care less if the customer is happy. They give inaccurate information and stick customers with online orders that should have the same exchange guarantee as if the customer ordered it from the site themselves. Will never do business with this chain ever again. Monks furniture cares about their customers and go above and beyond. If you’re looking for a bed even sleep number goes above and beyond for their customers. Not this company.
