I was in need of an upholsterer for my favorite chair: likely ca. 1920, velvet fabric, down cushion. The hunt was on and based on ratings, I selected Goodwin, emailed a photo of the chair, measurements and details. I noted that I had replacement fabric and yardage. Also noted that I could deliver the chair. I received an estimate, asked to be put on their wait list. A few months later I got the call. In short, a superb job: perfection! They had also strengthened the back legs, springs, touched up worn wood bits and added a bit to the seat cushion. I could not be more pleased.
