Extra Space Storage

Great staff! Units are clean, place is safe! We rented two units for a number of months when we first moved to the area. We were able to access our unit with a large moving truck. Moving out was a breeze! I highly recommend this extra space facility! They made out move to Hickory so much easier!!

Very clean place. Another renter used moth balls in their unit, so it stunk up the whole area. Hopefully the smell dies down so my things don’t stink. Moving in was easy, carts are provided to roll everything in. The door frame was up a little high so we had to lift up on the cart and hold the items so they didn’t fall off, but it wasn’t this way with every door frame. Myra, the store manager, has always been very prompt and friendly when answering emails. I rented 2 units, second time completely online, and it was quicker and easy. The hardest part both times was signing the document on my phone, but it worked. Signing up over the phone the first time wasn’t as fast because documents were prepared and emailed, but the service was good. I would’ve given five stars, but I got a notice in the mail saying the rate was going up after just a couple months. I plan on keeping my things there a while, so hopefully they don’t raise the cost too many times or I may have to move. The last time I rented somewhere else the price didn’t go up once, and I was there several months. I never knew they could increase the price, so it was a surprise. I thought the price was locked in. Be sure to ask about using your own insurance, it will save you some money.

WOULD 10000000% NOT RECOMMEND, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A UNIT THERE FOR A WHILE. WHAT A JOKE. PRICE WILL START OUT GOOD HOWEVER, IT WILL CONTINUOUSLY GO UP UNTIL YOU TAKE YOUR STUFF OUT!!! WISH i NEVER GOT A UNIT HERE OR WASTED TIME OR MONEY

All the employees were always very polite and helpful. If I ever need any extra storage I will definitely come back and will recommend you to all my friends.nnRegards,nRobin Gray
