Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage

It has been 7 months trying to get resolution to a bad moving day experience. First, no one came out to quote the job. Over the phone, got quote. They missed the quote by $1300!! Quoted less than $2k, nearly $3,100 on moving day. Surprise #1 on the day. Then the crew leader tried to get more help and some one in authority showed up at my home, had a cussing match with the employee and then drove off with the guy. Surprise #2. So man down, truck undersized, and then random guys show up to finish the job. Surprise #3: Broke a lot of furniture. My great-grandmothers drop leaf table. They took it back to get it fixed. Their guy had it done in less than 2 weeks. But it’s been 7months and no one will answer how I can get my table or paid for the damaged furniture. Texted. Emailed. Called. Not a word. They broke custom dressers. Dented new dryer. Busted a crock pot in a box labeled “Fragile: crock pot!” Big orange tape. Broke it. Still no word. I don’t care how big of a hurry they were in, my life’s work was disrespected, thrown around, and broke. And still no, resolve.

Mindy/Chanel in the office worked with me over the course of a couple of days to help get my move set up. This was the farthest and most stressful move I've done in my life and because of my work it was impossible to nail down an exact day/time for the unload. Because I was moving into an apartment complex, I needed everything to line up perfectly to get our things moved in and clear out the parking lot ASAP. Mindy was able to get some guys together last minute and had them there within a couple of hours. I've never used movers before, always done everything myself, but again due to time constraints that wasn't an option. It was a little pricey but because of their speed and convenience...they've spoiled me for future moves.

Absolutely LOVE Jamie, Chanel, Robin, & Mindy!!!! Everyone is amazing and so helpful. Mindy came by to do the quote and made sure everything we wanted was covered in the move. I had a couple questions and Robin was so helpful in getting me the answers I needed. Chanel took the time to stop by and make sure everything was going well and things were being done as we had asked. I got a chance to talk with Jamie after the move to thank him for all the hard work and great organization. Ashe Van Lines really came through for us when everything seemed to fall apart. The 3 movers came in looked to see what was being moved and began working. They are fast & effective, polite, friendly. I cannot say enough good about the Company the office staff Robin, and the 3 movers. They are the Best.

Tremendous. Organization. My wife and I had a wonderful crew both in pick-up and delivery of many valuable items. Super courteous, friendly, the two delivery associates always asking us after such hard work if the appearance needed improvement or Mr & Mrs. Gilliam may I plug in your lamps for you. This is the best organization I've dealt with. I recommend this company to anyone. Very, very reasonable and an exceptional value identifies this Organization in just one minute aspect. At the speed of light I so highly recommend ASHE VAN LINES MOVING. THANK YOU AGAIN. It's so refreshing to know that there is still a great Organization like this existing the the Hickory Metro.
