American Freight Furniture and Mattress

I went to American Freight today to purchase furniture for the first time in my whole life, a terrifying experience for anyone's first, I couldn't have picked a better place!!!! This store not only has amazing selection at really decent prices but the customer service is incomparable. Zach made me feel comfortable and relaxed while looking for my first ever furniture purchase. I couldn't be happier, thank you for everything!!!!

My Cousin Ellie just relocated to Hickory... We were looking to furnish her new place... We stumbled upon American Freight Furniture and went in to have a look... We were immediately greeted & welcomed into the store by Allen... We told him we were just looking and he acknowledged that and gave us our space but he was right there when we had questions... His No Pressure sales approach gave us the comfort to shop... We were able to furnish 3 bedrooms, living room & dining room with Allen's help & Professionalism... Plus their large selection and Great prices made it easy... Allen gave us the 101 days no interest payment option on her entire purchase... Plus everything is getting delivered today... Great Customer Service Allen... Thank You Again for taking care of Ellie...

A few weeks ago I found 2 items for my new house, told the guy (very nice guy just wish I could remember his name) that we would return in a couple of weeks for them. He assured me that they would have it. On 3/6/21 went in to purchase the items: 1st the price increased $100, 2nd did not have in stock even though there was one on display. the girl seemed disinterested in making a large sale, she could not even give me a timeline of when it would be in stock. Also when she told the guy who was bringing the items out what I was getting he sighed heavily like it was going to be such an effort, he is getting paid to do this! I walked out because of the attitudes without purchasing anything, their attitudes lost them a sale of $800 I was highly disappointed with this place and would not recommend it.

Alan went above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. He provided the mom and pop shop experience from a time when people actually cared about their customers. I would definitely recommend friends and family to see Alan in Hickory. Absolutely worth the drive from Charlotte! Keep up the good work!!!

We were rushing in from Kannapolis, and the store had just closed. We got there right at closing. Zack opened the store back up for us to let us look around, and shop for what me and my wife needed. He offered exceptional customer service, and was very courteous, and patient. He was very friendly, professional and nice. We will definitely shop here again, and we hope that Zack keeps up the good work!
