The entrance is downstairs at the door marked first employment staffing. Fabulous work! I am so happy with my dress that I had let out for a wedding. You can't see the seam unless you're looking for it. She has over 40 years of experience and a fashion degree. This woman knows what she's doing. I thought $50 was a bit much, but I couldn't do it and I'm so happy with the results.

The lady was very pleasant vfc and down to bvb earth. She ffg I'd a good job on the alteration.

I got a bridesmaid’s dress hemmed here and it turned out great. She even made me a matching mask out of the leftovers! I don’t mind paying a little extra to ensure that an excellent seamstress is taking care of my alterations. I plan to return soon to have her alter some pants and shirts for me! Extremely sweet, professional woman works this shop. It was a pleasure to have my alterations done here.

My sister and I have taken all of our prom dresses here over the years and you can’t beat this place! When I bought my wedding dress I knew I would take it here to get altered and I could not have been happier with the results. My dress was perfect and ready on time (during prom season)! I highly recommend them!! The place is small and packed but don’t let that deter you, they do great work for a fair price

This place is terrible! I do not recommend at all! I was told to go here by the place where we bought our dress (which cost $199). I walked in to this filthy, disorganized place and the women were very rude. They did the sizing and then demanded I pay $50 CASH as a deposit. I asked if it was going to cost more!?! She said, “ of course, and proceeded to tell me all of the things I needed done”-exaggerating. The dress shop told me my alterations should not have cost more than $50. We needed 4 straps tightened and two layers of fabric cut. That is it.nMy daughter and I scrounged the $50 cash and left reluctantly. I asked before leaving if the dress would be done on time. She said, “it should be”. SHOULD!?! I then said, “I really don’t want to wait to get it until the day before!” She said that sometimes that is the case. Definitely not helping the anxiety. There were hundreds of dresses in there it seemed.nnFast forward one week later and we are on spring break. The woman calls me and tells me the dress is done and I need to pick it up THAT DAY! Who does business like this? I proceed to say I am out of town and can not get there for a few days. She tells me they are clearing that whole space and redoing the floors! What!?! Why didn’t she mention this the week before??? Then tells me I owe $65 more in CASH! Are you kidding me! I pay $199 for dress and $115 for alterations! I mention that to her and she says “we can’t help what you pay for the dress”.nnI have not picked it up yet. Going today. I just want all of Hickory to know -DO NOT GO HERE. It is shady. I would not recommend at all. I will even go out of town next time. Anything but to have to deal with these people!
