Mattress Man Stores

We had a great experience at this store after visiting 3 others. James was helpful but not pushy. He helped us find the right mattress at a price that was actually far lower than we said we were willing to spend - in fact we got the mattress plus box spring for what other stores wanted for a mattress alone. And it's well made. If we don't like it we can return it for credit. We are going back for pillows, would recommend highly.

We wanted to shop local and we wanted to actually be able to “test” our new mattress before buying. Mattress Man was recommended in some reviews I found on WAX, so we decided to give them a shot. And, we are SO HAPPY we did. Brent, at the Clearance Outlet, and Rob, at the main store on Tunnel Rd. were super helpful. They listened to what we wanted/needed, offered different suggestions/recommendations - all with absolutely NO pressure. Brent and Rob were really knowledgeable about all things “sleep” and they steered us in the right direction. I can honestly say we had FUN shopping for our new mattress. They gave us a great deal, threw in some extras and discounts - and, we get our new mattress + accessories in a week!!! A big THANK YOU to Brent and Rob. It feels good to support a local family-owned business. We will definitely be back and we certainly recommend that you try them out, too.

We had already been to four other mattress stores looking for a new king mattress but decided to also visit Mattress Man in the Overlook Village. The young man helping us that evening was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. At other stores they seemed a bit over zealous or in one store, the sales person couldn’t adequately answer our questions. We were impressed with the way we were provided information on the different mattresses at Mattress Man and also how we were not pressured or just directed to the most expensive mattresses. We found a Restonic hybrid that we liked for a good price and decided to buy it. We ended up getting both free box springs and free delivery. We were pleased with the price. He scheduled the delivery for the following Saturday and said that we would get a call on Friday with the specific time. On Friday, we received a call saying they would deliver between 1 and 1:30 on Saturday. They did arrive right on time and quickly set up our new bed and removed our old mattress and box springs. The young men delivering were very nice and conscientious. We have now had our mattress for about a week. It seems a bit firmer than it was in the store but does seem to become a little softer day by day. We appreciate the 120 night guarantee if we should need to go to a more plush option but don’t think we will need to. We were very impressed with Mattress Man from start to finish. We would highly recommend Mattress Man!

This was the easiest purchase I've made in awhile! I needed new twin mattresses for my girls and was immediately shown options that fit what we were looking for. We got great pricing, quick, attentive service, and we're were able to support a local business. It was a win all the way around!

I had been all over town, and finally came to the Mattress Man in Asheville to find a bed frame, in store! Everywhere else had either been out of my bed size or wouldn't carry in store. They were extremely personable, quick to respond, and helped me in a matter of minutes. They even carried the bed frame out to the car for me, no questions asked. I highly recommend! I will definitely return in the future.
