I am new to this area and I prefer to give my business to locally owned business rather than corporate giants. This was one of the best shopping experiences ever. I called and the owner answered . I wanted an item that is not in demand any longer and he was placing an order at that moment. Chuck specials ordered exactly what I needed and gave me a special price as well. The adjustable base arrived in days and was delivered by two of the nicest young men who were respectful , worked rapidly and took the trash with them. One was so nice he suggested a great mattress that he had purchased for when I am ready to make that step. It only took a few days until I called to obtain a quote and was offered a twin mattress that had been custom ordered by someone else who did not complete the purchase. I was quoted a price about 60% less than retail and have now dealt with another employee to complete that purchase. All in all my initial preference to “support small local businesses rather than the impersonal behemoth corporate chain was the best move for me!! I have just returned home after suffering a stroke in October and could have been taken advantage of, instead, I was taken care of!!! Shop Mattress Man if you are in western North Carolina!!!

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new bed to most definitely check out Mattress Man. Best prices, friendly faces, courteous and full of professional services. James provided all the help I needed. He was cordial, knowledgeable, transparent and precise. 100% satisfaction.

The older guy who works here is not very helpful or courteous. I understand you may be tired or having a bad day the holidays are stressful, but its helpful to acknowledge potential customers who are interested in a mattress. I ended up going to another location and received the best customer service. Go to the airport road location!
