As someone with retail experience I would expect better from a higher priced retailer. Customer service was not what I expected at all. The checkout person was cold and made me feel super awkward because my first form of payment declined. She wasn’t kind or patient. No one really asked me if I needed help looking for something. I know it’s pandemic times, but when a store only has a small amount of customers and multiple people on staff someone could step in and help. I understand stores downtown get “just lookers” but some customers aren’t there to “just look” they want to shop and have a nice experience since I’m sure some of us haven’t left the house much.

It's everything you expect it to be and products/design including national and more local designers. It's a more up scale retail experience with quality goods that have a flair of artistry. There are also little knick knacks. This location seems to do a great job of offering decent discounts on a lot of their goods and even more significant ones in the discounted section. The Asheville location is much friendlier and inviting than others but that's mainly the employees and partially that's it's Asheville. The employees here were very helpful and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of goods that usually don't disappoint. Associates will come ask to hold things at the counter for you so you don't have to carry them around. They also quickly, carefully, and effectively wrap and bag fragile items.

Missed seeing the typical nooks and magical coves this store is known for. One sales associate approached me agressively regarding my slipping mask! Other associates were courteous.

Really pretty store and merchandise at extremely high prices. I think you must have to go to snoot school to work here also.

The manager was super nice! The cashier was rude and not personable at all!!! The store was decorated nice and very well spaced.
