West End Bakery & Café

I had the opportunity to stop by West End Bakery this afternoon, and it was a wonderful experience!nThe menu was posted clearly, as was a requirement to wear a mask. The staff was friendly and attentive. While there, I picked up several loaves of bread to take home. The loaves were dense, rich, and heavy; exactly what you want from the bakery.nIn the 20 or so minutes it took to get back to the house, the most amazing aroma permeated my car. It took a force of will not to pull over and tear into the bread. When I did make it here, I took the chance to nibble at a heel while doing chores. Divine!

Only got one thing from here, can’t help myself when I see baked goods. They had two vegan options, an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. I opted for the muffin, HOLY COW. So moist, perfect pumpkin flavor, chocolate throughout. This muffin was so good and $4 for a huge muffin. Highly recommended

Great little Bakery in Asheville. Good espresso. Amazing vegan options!

Would be cool if they answered the phone...nSeriously this place has become an inconvenience to even try, I’m not sure the staff have ever worked in service

Best local bakery! Never had anything bad here. Amazing breakfast sandwiches, mouthwatering fresh pastries. My biggest problem is that I can't get there early enough to get the pastries I want, but they are all great so it doesn't really matter. Super friendly staff that go above and beyond. Love this place!
