Second time in Asheville and I had to go back. I am surprised by how light some of the desserts are

Did the 4/$10 macron. All were indistinguishable from the other except the chocolate. Other desserts by the slice were top notch- strawberry cream, vanilla cheesecake, creme brulee. Wish we'd skipped the chocolatey sponge cake, and did the eclair instead. It looked phenomenal.

Everything i had was very tasty and they gave vegan options including vegan cupcakes.nnSince the place is tiny there is only room for 1 group which means a line develops very quickly outside.nnThe people that work here need to level up their energy. A lethargic customer service experience really takes away from the European feel that you are expecting when you walk in.nnDespite me being thankful and positive all I could feel off the service was a desire for me to leave. That’s kinda yucky and really affected the experience here.nnThat being said the pasties were all excellent. 3 stars for bad and negative customer service experience and 5 stars for pastries if you read this.

The was the first place I went to when I moved to Asheville, and it was the last place I went to before moving out. It’s absolutely perfect! Everything they have is a work of art. You can’t go wrong, whatever you get. I loved their quiches, hazelnut napoleons, black diamonds, and they know how to make AMAZING almond croissants. I miss this place dearly.

Stopped for a quick dessert and coffee, the staff was very nice and helpful. We bought macaroons and banana nut bread which were all very delicious. My coffee was not that good, I just ordered a basic vanilla cappuccino and requested it to be on the sweeter side but it was extremely bitter and really was not sweet at all.
