Massage Envy

3/22/21 - 5:00PMnI had an issue with one aspect of how Massage Envy was doing business. I mentioned it to the personnel at the location and they basically told me that's just the way it is. I called their Director of Operations, Chris Taylor, and left a message. The Regional Manager called me back and after our discussion I was told pretty much the same thing the other employees said. I told her that I wanted to speak to her boss so she relayed the message and I got a call from the Director, Chris. At first it seemed that he was going to have the same position as the rest. However, after our conversation he apparently looked into my complaint and by the end of the day he called me back to thank me for my input and to inform me that going forward they will be implementing the suggestion that I made.nThis morning I was on the verge of canceling my membership that I've had with them for years but because of Chris Taylor's actions my confidence in their company has been restored.

This is the best place for massages and I use Abbey,Kendra and Rena these guys are great but they are very recommended!!!

I had been a member for years first in Florida and then in Gulfport, Mississippi. The massages were adequate considering the price. One needs to understand that you probably won’t receive a spa standard of care, but given the price, this is expected. The therapists and front desk staff were always pleasant and professional.nnI cannot recommend a membership, however because cancelling it is very difficult especially if you have moved to another location. I called the Gulfport store back in July to cancel at which time I was unable to cancel without first filling out a form online and email it back. It is now November and I just now received the email after having to contact my credit card company. Nick Alexander, the general manager in Gulfport says today I am unable to get the 4 months of charges paid back even though I wished to cancel 4 months ago because I never returned the email I never received. Incidentally, he says I have 60 days to go to a local massage envy to spend it.nnIMPORTANT: You will never get your money back from this company even when you do not receive services for any reason.nnI’d have been better off paying for better massages at a real spa somewhere instead of going for what I thought was an inexpensive convenience that has turned out to be very expensive!
