DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Biloxi

Stayed at this hotel while visiting Biloxi. Very clean and the rooms were quite nice. Stayed on the sixth floor with a terrific view of the Gulf. Great breakfast in the morning and it's made to order, not a buffet style. Bar service until 9:00 pm each night. Right around the corner from Beau Rivage too. I would definitely stay here again, particularly for $115 night!

The room was fantastic. Everything about this place smelled great. I don't know what they do to make it smell so good here but it works. The scent in the air here is intoxicating.

The location was great and the service was excellent. The appearance of the room was nice. However the functionality of the room left a lot to be desired. There was no microwave, fridge, or little dresser to unpack clothing in. The bathroom sink was nothing more than a vanity piece that was put there to look nice. There was no room to spread out toiletries, hair dryer, curling iron and the typical stuff a husband and wife might carry. The bed was absolutely terrible and the pillows were even worse. Not what I expected for such a nice hotel. Could be way better.

There was 2-3 interstates between the motel and the beach with no apparent easy access.nThe room heat didn't work. The cooling worked but old and noisy.nThe staff was nice and friendly, the rooms clean and the parking easy.

After driving 4 hours, I had to wait 3 hours for a room to become available. I was told that someone would call me but never received a call. I reserved a room with two Queen beds but was given one queen bed and was told that nothing else was available. I was told to talk with a manager on the next morning. After speaking with management, I was told that others had to wait and had no complaints. My room rate was $102 per night, for two nights. I was only compensated $34 for my stay. I wasn’t offered another room after speaking with management. The refrigerator was out of order as well.
